Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida provides clinical and forensic comprehensive pediatric, child, adolescent, and adult neuropsychological evaluations which normally require about two days.
Evaluations are detailed, and we have patients complete 20-30 page histories of development, functioning, and complaints which are reviewed with patients and/or their parents in two-to-three hour face-to-face interviews and examination. Comprehensive neuropsychological testing is conducted to help with complex diagnostic differential, determine strengths and weaknesses, along with scientific statistical analysis of many core patterns which have clinical implications.
Neuropsychology clinics often involve neuropsychologists who may train, supervise and provide oversight for other neuropsychologists. Use of psychometricians, assistants or technicians is often employed as the neuropsychologist's time is usually directed on obtaining medical and neuropsychological history, mental status, interpretation and report writing. At least some measures are usually administered by the pediatric or adult neuropsychologist.
